Congrats, nice classic color combo.
And I bet that engine is great, I've only tried a F10 525d, and that was great.

Congrats! She's a beauty.

I can't get over the quality of the F10 interior everytime I see it in good high res pics.

If you could unfold the sat-nav screen to the same size as an OS Landranger sheet, with a similar amount of detail, I'd leave my maps at home as well .
Sat-nav's ok for getting from A to B, but it's no substitute for the real thing when exploring the countryside.

Yes, I have to say I've only had the car for just a week and the build quality is just amazing. This is such a well put together car. The driving experience is again fantastic, there is a bit of roll in harder than normal cornering, but this is a big car and it sorts itself out without any fuss. Sound levels are very low, but put it into manual/sportmode and that engine roars, for a diesel very rapid acceleration. I feel as though I've finally found the car I've always been looking for, a combination of all the good things in the right amounts. I've a feeling this car will be with me for a long time to come.
All I can say to BMW is I think the new 5 series is a winner.

What type of engine is the 530? In the US the 3L sequential turbo is called the x35d depending on the model.

Very cool, indeed.Ordinarily I don't like black but yours is a beauty. And you Europeans get just about everything in diesel while we get a few castoffs.

But the rumor is that a 5er diesel will be hitting our shores next year.Still trying to decide whethet I'll wait for it or do something now.

Oh...BTW...did you notice that your steering wheel was installed improperly?

(Sorry...couldn't help myself!)

Forgot to ask...is that the basic leather (it's called "Dakota" leather here) or is it the premium stuff (called "Nappa" here)?

I'll have to go back to the Dealer, I knew I'd find something wrong eventually

This car still feels and drives like new and I never get bored driving it. Heres looking to another 6 months.
