Running Ruff at times
My 2011 550i seems to run a little ruff at times usually at a stop light when my foot is on the break, the engine rumbles, in the past 2 years I have had a drivetrain malfunction twice, about a year apart, I shut the car off and restarted it and it was fine, told the dealer about it the malfunction and they couldnt find anything. I was thinking that it may be the gas quality, so I switched brands a few times and the rumble still happens occasionally, I usually use QT gas, any thoughts? The car only has 20,000 miles on it.

^^^ What Alan said. You have injector issues. Its extremely common. I find it funny though that the dealer did not find anything. If you set a drivetrain malfunction (assuming you never cleared codes yourself) there would be related faults stored in the vehicle. I have also seen many times 550s running rough with NO CEL and its still the injectors. Easiest check is, (for the dealer if no faults) pull the plugs. Find the plugs that are covered in fuel. Thats your injector that is dumping. You will either get 4 new injectors in 1 bank, or all 8 new ones. Bring the car back to the dealer
