My Review of BMS stage 2 by BadBlack550xi
i am not a big fan of the butt dyno effect so i will have dyno with in a week or so.
For now i will post my butt dyno impressions...... WOW!!!!!!!!!!! i didn't think i would see much difference since i have driven my car on stage 1 and boosted it to the highest limit... STAGE 2 is on a whole different level guys i was shitting bricks how hard it pulled me in the seat.... looks like terry did more timing tunnng and better inter cooler flow... i did some data logging for him so we can have a stage for people with down pipes and exhaust... i will be doing more logging all week and hopefully we get race map settings soon also. If you have stage 1 you should upgrade to stage 2 with out a doubt this thing is just on a whole different level guys..... will be posting my progress here and Feb 22nd i will be at Atco raceway aiming at new record below 12 seconds. i will post some videos from inside my car recorded my reaction to this.

Awesome man!
Welcome to the 460+ club I hope! PS: I can't wait to see your dyno and HP Curve since you are like the only other person besides me with downpipes from what it seems like! Quote:

^^ you should meet up with BadBlack since you guys live right next to each other. Just make sure you fill up on some RACE gas prior lol

+1.... installed my S2 w/ BadBlack very late last night. I don't catted hi-flo catted DP's like him, but I have M5 mufflers and the center muffler replaced w/ an x-pipe so my exhaust is slightly less restrictive than stock.
The car is significantly more powerful than the base Stage 1 (n63) and more powerful than the race gas setting on the S1 as well. The biggest difference is the power/smoothness above 4k rpm, where it is smooth and solid now, before the car would fall flat above 5500 RPM. There is still obviously boost lag, but I am confident it is reduced to some degree. I need to let my car adapt more later today, and do some logging so BMS can continue to tweak and build a race gas map. However, I am confident that BadBlack's car w/ his hi-flow Downpipes and less restrictive 3" exhaust is overall smoother, and pulls more aggressively than mine, as it should. I recon it's make somewhere in the range of 15 awhp/trq than mine as now the downpipes and exhaust can finally breathe. Will get those dyno appt's scheduled. |

Yes, 2AM, I went to bed at 330AM taking my car out to adapt so that I could log tonight... all for the greater good of the forum members any other enthusiasts.... On another note for those reading this, BMS picked up a new F10 M5 for a shop car.... I can basically guarantee a S2 for the TU setup not, along with a rediculous S2 for the S63TU.... with targeted 700whp and 750rwtrq.... |

Great info man!
You guys diff need to go to the dyno together, same day and time! It would be really cool to see. But do some stock runs too then with stage 2 tune. So we can see power curve increase. Quote:

if you have all the tools no more than 30 mins difficulty level is very small.

Yeah! lunch is on me. I will post a new thread in the regional/California for local Socal owners to ask if anybody else want to join. We can hang out at the shop, do the installs, chat, take pics then ride out for lunch then do whatever we want
