Cdt audio

Anyone know what speaker brands and sizes fits MY 2013 F10 standard audio system? If we can list items & make it sticky would great info.

bavariansoundwerks finally came out with the retrofit for the F10s.

http://www.bavariansoundwerks.com/pr...-Sedan-10-F10/

I was considering this until I saw the price. May be well worth it, but I was hoping it wouldn't be so expensive.

The speakers are amazing to say the least.

Adding an amp isn't quite that simple. You need to defeat the factory crossover and eq points so you can start fresh otherwise your never going to get the full capability out of any sq class speakers. I prefer the Audison BIT processors to do this.

What are you going for? Our speakers may be perfect for you -- just depends on your goals with the system.

Hey I'm also interested in what you may have to offer. I'm going for clarity but also loudness. The current system just isn't loud enough. I like to be able to put it up without distortion and sing along while not being able to hear myself actually singing lol I already have a 4 channel amp that I was using in my previous e60

Looks great so far man can't wait to see the final install!

So is it pretty much confirmed now that those cdt audio components fit in the door? If they do I'd like to purchase them, which I also couldnt seem to find an online retailer that has them. I really need to upgrade these speakers, the factory system just doesn't do it for me

CDT HD 42 will fit in center (will have to cut the trim little (leather part), not difficult at all) and rear self. Front doors must use CDT CL 42SL. Get 530 crossovers & DRT 25 tweets with your set. Everything sounds great, just waiting on good cables before I really tune it. Call Jerry (714) 546-4267 Thunder Audio Video, best prices you will ever find. I got everything from him.

Sorry for the RIDICULOUS delay in my response. I was neck deep in our new site (www.bavsound.com) launch when this post came around and I just never had a chance to reply.

What we offer is a 100% complete plug and play speaker upgrade kit called the Stage One:

More info at:
http://www.bavsound.com/Stage-One/

It's designed for your exact BMW and provides a very, very big improvement in overall sound quality without requiring you to change any other component of the system (but they are compatible with aftermarket amps, should you desire. )

Here are some reviews of the kit from various forum readers:

(If you want more, let me know -- there are tons!)

That might be an option. I still haven't upgraded the audio as I got sidetracked. What's the rms rating on those front and rear mid ranges? Website doesn't seem to say
