Exhaust question

Okay guys quick question. So Today I went and had an exhaust built for my car. After the stock downpipes, I ran 3” piping into a 3” X-Pipe and Continued 3” piping all the way to the stock mufflers. (Removed both resonators and the smaller muffler)After all this, I thought my car would have some sound to it but my car came off the jack and it was dead silent 😑. My next option is to replace the stock mufflers with some magnaflow mufflers or something. My question is, anyone have any good muffler ideas? Any videos or sound clips?

Catless Dp and muffler delete would have saved you alot of trouble. Now you have none of these

I stuck with 2.5" for the exhaust. Vibrant 1148 mufflers, 2.5 in, dual 3in out. Similar setup to yours, xpipe and resonator delete. The tips are slightly too short IMO but for the price I love this setup.

Cold start:

Revs comparison including a clip identical to your current setup and stock:

Parking lot drive by until I was chased off by an old man:

The drone is pretty annoying, so I'm going to be adding bottle resonators where the factory resonator was in the center. If that doesn't work I'll look into quarter wave pipes.

Is 2.5" the standard inlet for the 550i stock muffler? Also are your exhaust tips 3" out?

this is a great setup. although not necessary if you already have an x-pipe, I would recommend some resonators within the setup.

OP - remove your stock mufflers and replace them with a resonator (such as vibrant) on each side. it will be loud yet sound good.
