Congrats enjoy it. Not sure about the F10 badge, but an AW msport is always a great choice.

Since the seams appear black due to the gap, they tend to stand out and look larger to me on white cars, and I find my eye is constantly drawn to them versus the paint colored creases of the body. That said, I'm admittedly a pick OCD and picky!

Wheels are Avant Garde 20's Nitto Invo 245/285 Tires H&R Springs Valentine 1 Blendmount Matte Black Grills Clear Side Markers Fender Chrome to Matte Black with Lights High Gloss Black over chrome on Door Handles Black Roundels Front/Rear Rear BMW Wing/Spoiler De badged F10 Badge Upgraded Floor Mats Clear Bra Window Tint Done for awhile, just my DD. Came out of a CTS Coupe. Much nicer car, I'm happy, and think everything turned out well. Grateful for all the 5 forums to help me decide on where I wanted to go with the mods. May post her to some other sites too. Glad to be in the 5 family. |

Very nice car - I just moved from a 2013 M5 (8/2012 first month of production) into a 2014 550i MSport. I am very pleased with all the improvements that the LCI has brought, I had an '11 550i MSport before the '12 M5 and as you know there are many subtle changes that I believe add up to a better F10.
Question - You listed "Fender Chrome to Matte Black with Lights" as a customization you made to your new F10. I don't mind the signals on the mirrors, but I am disappointed that BMW didn't simply seal off the front fenders for the North American market - I do not like the fake decorative chrome bezel where the signal/side marker originally was. Does your light work like the original - as a signal along with the mirror? I like how it appears better. Was the wiring already there? What did it take to do and is this a BMW part that can be ordered and installed by my dealer? I appreciate your input - enjoy your new car.

I see you put indicators in the side fenders like the pre-lci, are they functional or just for show?

I found the fender indicators on Ebay as a package deal with the clear side reflectors. The are for show as no wires were present and didn't see the need for 2 going at the same time. I'm fairly mechanical so I changed them myself. Looking at the new ones you can figure out how to remove the old. Replacements snap in. I couldn't believe they put that piece of chrome plastic on the fenders. Glad its gone. Thanks remmib, your car was part of my inspiration.
