thanks for the welcome! october is a long time away .. where can you drive a bunch of f10s without causing a traffic jam like some kind of protest?.. let me check mine, i didnt want to change my suspension originally, but now im having 2nd thoughts .. today at least thinking just want to lower around 1-1.5cm .. so maybe just springs (+cheap) or m-suspension after 6months.. i dunno, want lower a little, but still want to be able to charge over speed bumps! (on 19inch rims) |

You have the OEM 19" rims or after market one? How is the ride quality and look? I wish I could have 20" like some HK members here but I need to drive off road sometimes and have a so so driver wife. Have to stick with max. 19" When I test drove the 528, I really stepped on the gas pedal all the way and I am very impressed on the acceleration. The dealer sat next to me had some sweats really. |

20 definetly looks better
but i ont know about ride quality on my 19s, its still very good, comparable to the 17rft ..less stiff tire(rfts pretty hard), but less tire(=more rim), less vibration/rfttire noise .. trade up def worth it .. but 19 or 20? that is the question 20: looks, matches cars proportions 19: more comfort, decent size but not the most aggressive eh.. u have wife.. good lord, well do u care about rim damage? my family wont drive my car, i think they dont want me to go bonkers if anything happened there how high rpm did u go? i never tested it.. just trust the bmw factory but 528 is under powered if u drive with car full of ppl, so best with low tank and no passengers |

I plan to get the Forgestar F14 19", any thoughts? Just like the reasonable price for flow formed and US product. The japanese rims are nice and yen has sky rocketed like hell and really wanna ban japanese products for the time being. Other US forged rims will cost me two arms and two legs which leaves me handicap to drive. |

what r the rim/tire specs? looks of the rim is very individual .. everything is damn expensive now .. when i see the euro I feel the pain of car parts if u change your rims you will be out 2x-3x k hkd total actually the rim style should match the color of the car, so u have to choose one that looks good on your car |

10JR, 275 35 19 brushed titanium finish, come with BMW center cap, think it will look nice with my black car. Quote me for $4800/wheel, made to order and 2 months lead time, I think it is quite reasonable. Personally I like all black with black wheels, trim, front grill but with a 528 just wanna look more subtle and not as "mod" and aggressive look. |

i have the same idea .. didnt want to go too hardcore .. esp since we are 'only' 528i we dont want to get criticized by those big 550is boys right?
my 19 are only 8 and 9 wide, 9 and 10 is good would not be too wide .. but ofcourse better if the rims r not too heavy (<30lbs) 245 275 on 8.5/9 is too much tire for me, so going to 9/10 solves this problem |

I'm looking at RD Sports springs right now, they drop the ride by about 25-30mm. Everything else on the market would be too much for me, 35-40mm drop.
Checking with RD to see if they have a different spec between the LHD n RHD. |

just joking, i wanted to be the first to criticize myself :P kfiend u r right, i checked my car , driver side is 6-7mm lower! (measured properly with tape on flat ground, half tank) why is this? do u know if bmw has suspension bias for driver side/ gas tank etc.? i am troubled now.. thanks u have adaptive drive right? just mod springs can work ? i would want a small drop 1-1.5cm, but that is too small might as well go for 2.5cm right? but i want keep comfort ..how to do? rc3 i think 8.5/9 or 9/10 both r good.. but do u like fat or skinny tire look? i have 225/255 on 8/9 .. bmw spec is 245/275 .. so u see what i mean so light, mine r 28/29 lbs but cant help it i like the style after testing the tires a bit, i can say my current set up is ok for most spirited driving, but 8/225 on front i could feel if i want to push it more, going crazy to clearwaterbay/shek O etc. is not enough .. for max control on this large car i feel 8.5or9/245 is better. thats my experience back on 255/9 does not feel a issue, so 9or10 u can choose for looks instead! |
