Wondering if anyone else has encountered the following:

I notice a distinct rattling sound whenever the car is in gear (either D or R). I can hear it both while stationary (with foot brake applied) or while moving. The rattle disappears whenever I put the transmission into P.

I'm not aware of any performance problem. Although, at low speeds, the car can be very jerky, but that has been the case the entire time I've owned the car.

Any help would be much appreciated.
