Saying Goodbye
Is there a place where information is collected on how to get ALL of your personal information out of your F10 when you sell it or turn it in at lease-end? I'm thinking of garage door codes, paired Bluetooth devices, previous destinations, stored music, custom settings for short-cuts, designation of service center, BMW Assist registration and and probably a few other things that are not occurring to me as I write this.

Good question. I'd like to get rid of the previous owners information. On my NAV "HOME" Is the previous guy. He has 50 songs on the hard drive as well and they are awful!!!! He has good taste in cars but not music!!!

I had to manually delete one-by-one the previous nav destinations and at least 50 albums of crap music from the hard drive of my car after I bought it. It was particularly annoying because the nav would regularly and spontaneously try to take me back to his home address in NYC from San Antonio, TX. Even after I deleted it, it reappeared a couple times and had to be deleted again.
Gotta love iDrive. EDIT: To do the deleting, you have to bring up the album or waypoint, then hit the options button and select delete. I didn't figure out any way to do a mass delete of nav destinations or albums loaded on the harddrive.

I was looking in the manual. (Shocking, I know.) It indicates there is a choice in the nav to delete one or all of the "last destinations". Not sure about addresses stored in the car, which is another file to worry about, apparently.

Also in the Owner's manual to delete garage door codes: Hold down both left and right buttons concurrently until the led flashes rapidly.
