Pre-LCI N63 vs. LCI N63tu
With the addition of the n63tu to the LCI 2014+ 550is.... does anyone know if there has been any reviews/data indicating if that car runs more boost to make more power, or is it only the additional of valvetronic + different tuning (other than boost).
I'm sure once you guys start to get your hands on the '14 we'll see pretty quickly, but I know the n63tu is already in the 7er and 6er so not sure if anyone has read any more on it than I have. Curious to see how it compares vs. a pre-lci real world, stock. So, if anyone is in the NY/NJ area and gets their LCI in a few weeks and wants to see, PM me. |

I was told its a bunch of different upgrades. Surely gets more boost with its revised ecu/software/tuning, and lots of hardware if different I'm sure. I looked at the downpipes for example which look more like those off an M5 and not the same as a pre LCI car. This motor was available on the 2013 550i GT so it was around for over a year before these LCI's hit the market.
Does anyone know if and when Dinan will come out with a tune for these? |
