decals - yay or nay
After retro fitting the FRT/RR bumpers, spoiler, grilles, and steering wheel to Msport, i added a homemade gloss black overlay to the non-Msport skirt. Not trying to be cheesy but I was thinking the gloss black vinyl will match all of the M performance parts. The "M Performance" decal is too much though, i might remove it later.
Overall, $30 is not too bad of a weekend project. Tools needed are: 1. sharp blade 2. old credit card (squeegee) 3. dawn soap 4. water spray bottle 5. gloss black vinyl (local shop) - $25 6. M Performance decal(ebay) - $5 Previous projects that led to the M Performance decal: |

Incredible. Looks just like a bought one. I'd keep the M Performance decal as it wouldn't look OEM without it.
How did you do the steering wheel by yourself, particularly when it came to the airbag as I thought you needed to deactivate it to remove the wheel? And what exhaust set up did you go with? Great mods by the way. Ossam!

Love the car but don't like the vinyl. I never did like the M Performance one either because it makes the car appear to be higher off the ground which is the opposite of what most people do when them modify the car. Just my opinion.

I really was expecting something way worse coming into this thread...
I'll say its pretty creative but I think your car looked great before.. so I'll vote NAY.. at the very least on the M sticker. |

I think so too, especially on a light colored car.

nothing special with rear, just showcasing all the M stuff. the exhaust is a different story since its a 528i with a 535i aftermarket exhaust. the challenge is modifying the 528i right bucket and Y-pipe. below is the link: http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=929686 |

I like the vinyl work, I think with the right drop the decals on the side skirts will look really good (obviously I have them on my car so I'm biased).
But W/out a drop i agree they make the car look "higher" Drop and your set, car looks good so far
