I have a 535i 6 speed manual and I'm looking to see if anyone has recommendations on a short shift kit. I am looking at the UUC SSK. http://store.uucmotorwerks.com/mobil...eed-p1448.aspx
I'm been told by someone who has installed these that the figment from UUC is bad. In some cases he has his customers return the SSK back to UUC for another one. Just looking to shorten the throw which I think is long for BMW. Also remove the notch feeling between gears that feels clunky between shift. The CDV mod is happening either way.

Some guys in the F30 squad did a DIY on the UUC EVO3 SSK. Not sure sure it's worth it after watching the video:

that actually looks legit! i'd go for it! but i would ask what their return policy is before hand. i remember how much of a difference it made when i did the short shifter kit in my Integra! biggest response ever! not sure how the BMW is since mine is not a manual? but i would think it would be a big improvement over stock?
