Tyre sizes

What are the tyre sizes on the 19" 351M's?
I'm considering ditching the rft's for standard tyres.

From the 'Build your BMW' site:
19" light alloy Double Spoke style 351M,
8.5J x 19, 245/40 R19 tyres (front)
9J x 19, 275/35 R19 tyres (rear).

Ah, I see, so F10 = staggered, F11 = not.

Edit: @ remmib - Mines an F10, hence it's staggered.

Damnit - my E91 325d was staggered - went up to 18" rims ..... so was looking at some aftermarket wheels for this F11 and thought I had to get 8.5J Front, and 9.0J Rear - lucky this thread cropped up!

From the 'Build Yer BMW' feature:-

- F11 530d = 19" light alloy Double-spoke style 351 M, 8.5J x 19", 245/40 R19 run-flat tyres.

- F10 530d = 19" light alloy Double Spoke style 351M, 8.5J x 19, 245/40 R19 tyres (front), 9J x 19, 275/35 R19 tyres (rear).

I agree with Speedy. You get far more useful information from fellow owners compared to BMW.

There must be a reason why they spec same wheels all round for the Touring ?

All models come with run flats so I doubt it to be honest.

I'm quite sure you wouldn't lie.

I realise that they do but the F11 might have room for a wheel-well and hence they don't provide wheels to wide to fit in it, whether they have RFTs or not.

I don't have an F11 so I don't know that to be the case, just speculating.

I may end up swapping the RFT's for normal tyres and get a puncture repair kit.

BMW only spec the F11 M550d with staggered wheels.
Don't know why they don't put on staggered wheels on the rest of them, but the F11 has a totally differnt rear suspension than the F10, but there's still room for the OEM staggered wheels.
