I know we all get this feed:

Introducing the all new 2017 Alpina B7 http://www.7post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1223851

The new performance additions just reconfirm all the mods we do is the right thing. The two biggest ones for me were the use of Michelin Super Sport tires and the automated lowering system that takes it down almost a full inch!

Ditch the run flats and drop you car about an inch.

Oh and 3.6 0-60 is an M4 killer not to mention a string of AMGs

Whoa! so i'm better off waiting for this than getting an M5? some nice power there but we all know that the first year are the one's that come out with issues...what do you guys think? i love the body style and lines! probably the only part i don't like is how the lights connect to the front grill but DAMN...21" wheels! so i'm going to play dummy here i'm guessing the Alpina is the M7 for the 7 series?

Nice straight-line performance, but this car is seriously large. The 7 has grown in size, like all other BMWs, and I just can't imagine the size of this car making it a fun "sporty" ride - power aside.

Alpina is a 3rd party that customizes BMWs and resells them as their own bespoke models - but the relationship is such that BMW advertises and sells their after-market creations. They produce models based on the 3, 5, 6, 7, and x3 I believe. So, you can think of the Alpina B7 as an "M7" since BMW claims they'll never make one.

What is it with Alpina and those ugly-ass turbine wheels? There are better choices.

Gotta love Alpina. Over 50 years, hand in hand with BMW and still creating some of the hottest, though subtle, looking high performance cars. Gotta disagree on the wheels because I love those original Alpina wheels. They just emphasize class. Too bad we can't get B5's here.

Look at the tires. The sidewalls seem higher then normal low profiles. Like on my 20's I have a 35 side wall. Those look like 40

Now its time for us to get our hands on a set of the N63TU2 turbos. I'm sure we can retrofit those on the N63tu.

Also what is sad is the fact that BMW switched computers for the new generation engines once again. They are still bosch, so getting into boot mode should be possible after some time but BMW just doesnt seem to stop and let the tuning world catch up before they release even newer technology.
