A couple of weeks ago, I was exploring the iDrive on my LCI and stumbled upon connected drive menu. Inside this folder was BMW Online. I tried to access but I got a message that says something like, this is a paid service and I should call the 800 number or BMW Assist. So I did and was told that this option is not available to me and was transferred to customer service. Customer service said they can't help me as I need to talk to the dealer.

I have not had a chance to talk to my dealer, but I was playing around my iDrive again a couple of days ago and looked in the connected drive menu. BMW Online is no longer there/gone! Does BMW has access to my iDrive system to add, remove, update options?
