The perfect ride for getting large loads of groceries up to speed quickly. Would work for big dogs too.

@delvek, the difference between 535d and 530d from 0 to 100km/h (or 60 miles) is only 0.2 sec. 60hp more for 535d, so... this is the reason i choose 530d instead 535d.
535d is only marginal faster than 530d. It is the same thing with what you are talking about. Even if you add more HP, it is somehow useless if you are not reduce the mass of the car. |

makes sense, I read or heard somewhere regarding what it takes hp or torque to affect times and how the mass of the car is in that equation.
I watch topgear a lot and you see these incredible cars that go for hundreds of thousands of pounds and they are only a 1/2 second quicker 0-60 then a 550 and I ask myself, do we really feel that? Idk. I will tell you this, in my F10 550i I would literally pull away from anything I have encountered on the autobahn like a freight train. I am sure I am on the eventual evolution of an M, probably after this 550.

Our 550I M Sports MUST be running more than 407BHP and 600NM Torque.
There is only 0.2 of a second difference between this and the 550i MS too 62MPH and this one's running 500BHP!!!!

@ John, I firmly believe the 550i has been, in tradition, cautiously stated by BMW and no one has really tested the 550i. Any magazines or reviewers have only regurgitated the already cautious times stated by BMW. The 550i is incredibly fast, too fast and it may step on the M5 toes, until of course they hit the hairpin!

I think they meant 0.1 second slower than the "B5". F10vsF11 Alpina package. M5 is set to release, will be released at the Shang Hai Auto.
