TPMS sensors in Canadian cars
Got my new 550i xdrive this week, traded in my 08 E90 M3.
On the 08 E90 M3 Canadian models didn't have the TPMS sensors. Anybody know if the F10's have them or not? Looking to buy some wheels, and need to know if i need to order some. Thanks

Hi Edman,
All Canadian F10s dont have TPMS sensors rather they utilize a sensor on the ABS brake to sense differences in rotation speed in any tire. This is what my dealer told me after I bought the TPMS sensors from the US since I got a summer set. The easy way to tell this is to go tour car and look at the stems coming off the wheels. If they're rubber then you dont have TPMS sensors. Hope this helps. MBA |
