Eh... could be a bunch of things. With all the power the M5 has on tap makes you wonder if it was over-driven in the slalom... vs. a low power, all wheel drive sedan. Just a thought.

Yeah just read the article.
The numbers are skewed.
They are putting things on the car that is not even in the production version.

I not not sure where Lincoln is going with their new designs, but it has to be one of the ugliest lineup ever. I use to be big fans of Lincoln back in the 90s, but the new cooperate front end is a face only a monter could love.

I find it very interesting the Lincoln uses the same tires that are standard on the M5 and they best BMW's numbers. Tires make a huge difference in these performance tests. I've made the argument in the past, the limitation on BMW xDrive cars isn't the xDrive or the extra 125lbs, it's their lousy all-season grand touring tires. I put Michelin PSS (and forged wheels) on my 550 and it completely transformed the car in the twisties.
