2014 535 w/ CPO ?

My 535 factory warrantee expires in a few months and my CPO kicks in . Do I still need to go to the dealer for normal maintenance in order to keep my CPO valid , or would I just have to keep records and receipts of the actual maintenance being done . I would rather not go to the dealer for normal maintenance if I don't have to .

I'm curious, too. If this hasn't been answered by the time I pick mine up from warranty work tomorrow afternoon, I'll try to get and post the answer myself.

I used to change filters and did the oil service my self and dealer still honored the CPO on my 2010 535 I used to have, they replaced a fuel rail and changed the turbos for a sweet copay of $50 off a $3500 service bill. they never asked me about who or where the maintenance was done.

My CPO warrantee was part of purchase price of the car . I bought the car used from a BMW dealer

No, mine is under factory warranty through October. Then, CPO kicks in.
