How did you obtain your Service History?

For whatever reason, my SA will not provide the service history on my CPO 550i which is under warranty until 2017.

I would like to compile a binder with this info.

How did you obtain your Service Records or Service History?

They typically won't print out this information due to it having information on the prior owner. You *might* be able to talk the service advisor into blacking out the previous owners info.

Yeah, prior owner personal info is probably why. They will maybe black it out for you if you ask nicely as was stated. I luckily had mine from the prior owner already.

The SA showed me on the computer every service that was done and where but said He could not print it. Any services done after I purchased the vehicle He said He could print them up no problems.

I asked my SA and he showed it to me on the computer but would not print it out because it said "Classified" at the top. I didn't see anything except general maintenance and a battery replacement at 45K miles. Didn't even think at the time to ask them to black out the original owner's info.

Interesting, here they provide all the service info and accident repair info, even for 2nd hand BMW's you are looking to buy at other dealers. Nowhere does it show any personal info.

We can also log into "BMW Owners Circle" via the local BMW website and see all the service info on any BMW we own.
