What week am I? 36? 37?
According to BMW NA, my car started production on September 1st, with an estimated completion of September 13. I've been calling the 800 number every other day or so, but they said they have no other info, just that production has started.
When i ordered my M3 a few years ago, I remember that once production started, it went from production to body shop, to paint shop within almost 3 days. Does anyone think there could be some type of delay going on? Anyone else start production around this time? |

Skeemr4,
That sounds about right for current 5 series. It takes a little over a week to make the car. If they told you it would be done on the 13th...........it most likely will be. |

My Dad has a 530D on order also scheduled for week 37 production and he was advised that production started on his car today, European time that's a Saturday. So I guess week 37 started today! Apparently it will be in the UK by the end of September. The implication seamed to be that the car would be finished in less than a week and the rest of the time is transport.
