Question on Headlight auto option sensor
My windscreen was recently changed, and when the car was in for service, the dealer pointed out that an air bubble was left in area with sensor, when back at the auto glass place they asked me to double check as to them it looked more like a second sensor!
I find it hard to tell, hence can anyone owner of a 2011 production F10 with the auto headlight option confirm having the same, i.e. 2 sensors like in the picture, thanks for all the support! |

Your dealer needs a lesson in air bubble technology. Both of the items you indicate are sensors. My 2012 F10 has a different housing but the circle with the two sensors is identical in every way.
I have the full technology package and the High Beam Assistant which I assume is the option you are talking about, controlled by a separate button on the end of the turn signal. My windshield has never been replaced. Hope this helps despite the year discrepancy.
