Downpipe Comparison
With all the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales going on I've been considering pulling the trigger on downpipes for my 550i. As I search, there are several different manufacturers with generic downpipes priced in the $200-300 range and then some more well known manufacturers ranging from $1200-1500.
The big question is, what makes one, regardless of price point, any better than the other? They're stainless, catted or not and the length and pipe diameters are all the same. If you have a set, what made you go with the brand you chose? Thanks!

There is someone here who tried generic DP's and they don't fit. I personally wouldn't gamble with potential boost leaks due to improper fitment. You could find a used set of one of the proven brand DP's.

You're going to want a software flash after installing them, so just make sure your tuner shuts off the CEL for the catless and you'll be fine.

He is non-LCI, he couldn't get a flash tune for that anyways. (no love for our N63 DMEs)
