M5 style 345 wheels on an F10 528i?

Hello all, I have not posted anything in a long time. My 528i just got rear ended pretty bad 4 weeks ago and I decided to pull the trigger and start the mods. I ordered the M-sport kit and the body shop is currently installing and painting, by the end of the week I should have my car. I am planning to buy the new M5 345 style wheels for my car but I am not sure if it will fit.

M5 345 Specs: Front alloy wheels: 19x9" ET32
Wheel part number: BMW 36112284250
Rear alloy wheels: 19x10" ET34
Wheel part number: BMW 36112284251

Current set up: V Spoke (Style 328) 18 x 8.0 light alloy wheels, 245/45 run-flat1 performance tires, with offset 30 all around I believe. Any help is appreciated, I have been very depressed without my car for a month so I am looking to have it reborn!!!! Please please help!!!!

They should fit fine. Pretty similar to offsets on the same size wheels I just ordered this morning. Rear offsets are a little lower than what I orders so the fitment will be a little more aggressive but should be fine.

I ordered +30 to +35 in front (Forgestar is going to spec based on my car) and the rears are +38 with the same size wheels as what you are looking at.

I just want to know for sure because one dealer I called already told me that it will not work, sorry I do not know anything about offsets and what wheels / tyres should fit and not fit, thanks for the help...

They quoted me 498.22 each for the fronts and 611.22 each for the rears, so thats roughly $2,218.88 plus s/h.

What's your car and do you know if it fits your car? I want to lower it later using KW V1s or V2s.

Take a look here, pics of the 20" M5 343M wheels fitted, same rear offset as the 19" 345M.
http://f10.5post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=693143

I know the front 19x9 ET32 will fit, cause this F11 has the 408M, and that's also 19x9 et32, with 255/40/19 tires.

Thanks Remmib, from what you gathered here it seems there is no issue with rubbing as long as you get the right sized tyres for the rear, but the car that was in the picture wasn't lowered, I am planning to change to v1 or v2 KW and just drop it an inch. I am sick of the boat feeling on my stock suspensions, or maybe i should just go for non-staggered setup and buy the fronts for all four... I have to do more research before I pull the trigger....

If you go with 275/35/19 in the rear, I really doubt you will rub.

Here's a thread with some pics of a F10 with OEM 19" 351M wheels running 18mm spacers all around and dropped on H&R sport springs.

That's makes it 19x9 ET26 275/35/19 in the rear.

One thing I would like to point out is the poster with F10 528 M style 350 wheels to begin with
They are f: 18 * 8 et 30 r: 18 * 9 et 44

Therefore, when they switch over to the M5 343M wheels, f: 20 * 9 et 34 r: 20*10 et 34
The calc. shows f: -17mm clearance from strut/+9mm extension of wheel outward. r: -3mm clearance from strut/+23mm extension of wheel outward.

As for the 345M wheels, f: 19 * 9 et 32; r: 19 * 10 et 34
The calc. shows f: -15mm clearance from strut/+11mm extension of wheel outward. r: -3mm clearance from strut/+23mm extension of wheel outward.

You shouldn't have an issue given those specs. My BBS CH-Rs are slightly more agressive in offset and I haven't had any issues.

Thanks you for the input, did you drop your car? Any issues? Am planning to drop it an inch with KW VS 1s or 2s...

No problem for the input!

The car is lowered on H&R springs at the moment which lowers it about 1.4" and has no issues at all. I do wish the springs lowered it a bit more, but its still very noticable better than stock. I do plan on replacing the springs with KW V3's sooner than later though.

Thanks a lot for your help guys, so I pulled the trigger and bought the rims, I also ordered the KW V2s. The only thing am not to sure about is the tires.
I called a local Americas Tire since they offer good warranty and free repairs. They recommended these tire sizes for my 345 M style rims on my F10 528i, F: 245/40/19 and R: 275/35/19. The OEM fitment on an M5 is F:265/40/19 and R: 295/35/19. What do you think about their recommendations? The guy recommended Hankook Ventus Evos as a good all rounder tire since the Michelin PSPs don't last too long. I told him that I am very particular with quality, good handling, quite road noise, and long lasting. I don't care much about pricing as long as they are worth it.

The Hankooks are a good tire and you can't go wrong, but in the end go with you feel comfortable with.

Tire size recommendation is fine, but I prefer a 285/30R19 on the rear as my rear is a 10.5.

For the same size wheels, I just ordered 245/40/19s and 285/35/19s, same Hankooks. Going with the 285s should make my speedometer read more accurately, and also will make the rears ever so slightly taller than the fronts. For 275/35/19s I've looked at, the 245/40/19s are taller.

You basicly have three choices,
1. 245/40/19 + 275/35/19
2. 245/40/19 + 285/35/19
3. 255/40/19 + 285/35/19

I'd probably do 1 or 3.

Finally installed

Finally got some stuff done, installed M-sport kit and the M345 wheels, still waiting for my M5 grills cause it's on back order. Am running 245/40/19 Michelin PSS on 19 x 9 in the fronts and 275/35/19 Michelin PSS on 19 x 10 in the rears.

I want to thank everybody: Evan at Tischer, Remmib, Will Pwr, bobblehead, snj1013, your help was very appreciated and I am so happy with my car. My car was in the shop for 6 weeks from a hit and run and I almost pulled the trigger on a Panamera 4 because I was going nuts waiting, so glad I did not - I am totally in love with my car again.

Sorry for the low quality iphone pics, I am going to save up for some KW V1s in the near future. Any input on the KW V1s? I know most people will recommend V2 or V3s but the reality is I will put it on will not mess with it or track it. Just want a more stable / sporty drive aside from the sport suspension.
