F10 535i project completed
Hai all,
I've been a forum reader for a while, and this is my first post. So, it is a 535i F10 in titanium silver color. Bought it in late 2011, and start modding it since then. Find it really hard to get parts down here in Indonesia. I have to handcarry some parts from Singapore by myself. I also imported some parts from the state. It's a pain in the ass, but turned out to be very satisfying.. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do. Comments are most welcome Parts installed: - BMW M performance body kit - BMW M performance front grille black - 3D design front lip - 3D design rear quad tips carbon fibre diffuser - eisennmann 4*90mm race exhaust system - BMW M Performance carbon exterior mirror caps - BMW M Performance rear spoiler - BMW 343M 20" wheels (Front 9Jx20 ET34 and Rear 10Jx20 ET34) wrapped in YOKOHAMA Advan Sport Tires (Front 245/35/20 Rear 275/30/20) - KW V3 coilover system - Brembo BBK 6pot 405mm drilled disc with yellow caliper Future Mods??? nothing in mind at the moment. Would be happy for any inputs from all of you many many thanks |

Wow. First off I must say, you have put a lot of work into this car and I commend you for going to extreme lengths to mod your 535.
Second of all, must I say how JEALOUS I am of you of that Brembo Big Brake it. It looks incredible, and suits those M5 343 Rims quite well. If only I could afford one of those, but unfortunately, they cost $5K+ If I go to Indonesia I'm going to bring jacks and steal em Seriously though, you have put a lot of effort into your car, and I really love the way it looks, very clean and aggressive. If you could maybe you could get your wheels finished in gunmetal grey with matte black accents? Just my thoughts. Can we get some pics of the rear though? I would love to see it. Congrats on your car, makes me want to get more things done to mine. If only my budget was unlimited...

Thanks for the warm respond on my first post. Yes, it is a long way to mod a car in Indonesia. Used to study in the state till year 2010, I find it much much easier to have it done there. Regarding the black matte wheels, yes totally agree. I am looking at vorsteiner wheels Let's see if my budget will fit in.. Here is a pic from the back.. Hope you like it |

Also, if you are interested in matte black wheels, hit me up, I have a set of very unique wheels at a price you can't refuse. PM me ASAP P.S. That 535 badge either needs to go or be blacked out, or maybe even color matched. I'm not a huge fan of debadging, but it wouldn't necessarily look bad on your ride.

Looks so dam awesome. I am thinking of going with the yellow Brembos myself! As I understand it, you can only put them on the from because of the electronic parking brake. Is that correct?

really really nice car and just some curious questions, those M5 wheels, the offset is different from the regular 5 vs the M5, did you encounter any problems in regards to fitting or just bought the rims and plug and play?
Many thanks... |

He has changed the tires from the Michelin PSS 255/35 + 295/30 to Yokohama 245/35 + 275/30.

Yes totally agree with blacked out badges. Thinking to do that ASAP. thans again for the inputs. It seems you have a nice GT there.. For the license plate at the back, it is made of black acrylic. It's pretty famous in Indonesia. I can help you with that if you want. It cost you $50 for that.. |

Thanks for the warm reply.
Thanks mate. The wheels are 343M with staggered width for the rear. They are 20" M5 wheels. Since the car is not as wide as M5, it is much safer to go on 275 section. Tried it with 295 before, kind of worry the tire will hit the rear fender. If you need more information, do not hesitate to contact me. |
