Will LCI grill fit pre-LCI?

I just removed the "5" in "///M5" and placed "///M" in the centre on the badge. Looks pretty good!

Thanks! I would rather have removed the badge totally, but it seems very complicated (expensive), so this turned out to be the next best option.

I've already had my new car for a week now, got it in Stuttgart last Saturday and spent some days in Germany drinking beer and eating bratwürst, so arrived in Kristiansand on Wednesday. Very happy with the car so far!

The current winter wheels are some boring 17", so I'll rather do a proper photoshoot with the M5 LCI grill and 21" Avantgarde wheels once the snow is gone in March/April

Did you use the one your removed without the 5 or did you have the get another sticker?

I used the same one, just removed it with dental floss which worked fine and kept the adhesive tape on the back intact.

Where are you guys ordering the all black LCI M5 grill from?

Tischer BMW said they can't order those parts yet in the US and IND sells them for twice the price.

You can order it from www.schmiedmann.com for around $180.00 each side plus shipping.

I bought my M5 diffuser from them before it was available to the states.

Jees...$360 its steep considering I already have pre lci black grills on the car which only cost 120 new at the dealer.

I'll wait till they are in stock here. its one of those mods that could wait for me lol

Hi, i ordered the LCI M-Package grill and it fits perfect on my F11 M-sport package.

Aren't the pre LCI and LCI M Performance grill the same?

When i checked a few months ago the part numbers were the same for pre lci and lci black grills (non M5).

I guess if I wanna play. I gotta pay. Though, I think I will go to the aftermarket for CF/black grills. Though, I really like the unique double-slat look. Maybe someone will knock it off before I take delivery in 6 months via ED!
