Mileage on the engine?
What are stage 1 NGK plugs? 1 step colder? Gaps on the plugs? What is your FOL set to?

Update:
Finally got some time to work on car. badblack550xi Helped with finding out codes meaning 1st code had to do with JB4 and DME 2nd MAF 3rd Vaccum Leak Popped the hood and Intake on driver side had come loose so there was a leak there. (Brother helped with install, always inspect work) Rewired JB4 and connected BCM as well. Started car and Cleared codes and immediately "Drivetrain Malfunction" comes on and I receive a code as well. 119001 Rail Sensor short circuit + I cleared codes twice and same outcome. 535_BiTurbo Probably. What would be best packs to get? Some say OEM but I've read post on this other brand from turkey(or something like that). m5james 52,000 miles NGK 1 step colder Gaps were set to 0.022 FOL factory settings unless Map 2 changes it. (i was running map2) |

My Map 1 is an additive map for 4psi over stock/flash with BCM optional.
My Map 2 is an absolute map for 15psi peak targetting with BCM required. Are yours the same? Go into Settings, scroll down to FOL and what number is that? Mine was stock at 60, I've since bumped it up to 80 and it stopped my reduced power warnings. I know you've gotten help from Terry, but he seems to be dropping the TT V8's like a bad habit since everyone's issues aren't solved easily over a few emails, so maybe it's worth a try.

I checked earlier and the setting showed FOL @ 60. But I'll double check tomorrow. I definitely look into bumping the FOL to 80 when vehicle is on the road. I'm going to try to isolate the wires that are throwing the codes (BCM or Fuel Control). I'll check back when updates tomorrow. |

Yeah, try bumping up the FOL...worst thing that'll happen is you might get a CEL and a 310B overboost code that can be reset. I'm just taking a guess but if you've getting these codes on Map 0 then it's a wiring issue since technically the JB4 isn't supposed to be doing anything vs say Map 4 where it still has CANBUS active.

I'm not trying to muddle an N63 thread with my S63 experiences, but it's my understanding that Terry figured out the N63 JB4 worked on the S63 after a customer brought an X6M in person to the shop and we supposedly share the same or at least a very similar DME. With that said, here's my JB4 map and steering wheel settings (I've adjusted 0-4 and 6-7 speedo stuff, 5 and 8-14 I haven't tried) that I have used.

What about steering wheel controls? Those were stolen from an N54 thread yet they still work, minus the ones I haven't tried. I'll edit/delete my post if none if this is applicable here.

Update
So i changed 2 pin connector that didn't look so good from BCM. Connected Fuel Control and BCM wires. Upon starting car Drivetrain Malfunction comes on along with the code 119001: rail sensor short circuit + Turned vehicle off and disconnected battery. Disconnected BCM wires and left Fuel Control connected. Turned Vehicle on and same results. (Drivetrain Malfunction and 119001 code). Turned vehicle off and disconnected battery. Disconnected both Fuel Control and BCM. And No Problems!!! So I'm assuming something is wrong with JB4? Currently emailing Jon from Burger Tuning to see what he recommends. |

Update
After a couple of emails back and forth, JB4 left manufacture with Purple male and female wires switched. Will be waiting on some pin connectors to be sent out to me. |

Maybe the N63 settings are different, but per this table, it says a BCM is needed. I don't know what'll happen without it though.
Edit - table removed
