Second road trip in my F10
I just returned from my second long road trip in my F10 and I am amazed at the results. I drive from Houston to New Orleans on Wednesday and returned today. 760 miles, averaged 65 mph and got 35 mpg! That is amazing.
She drives like a dream and with the new Bavsound Stage 1 upgrade from last weekend it made the trip go very quickly. Today we drove through some pretty rough weather and I felt confident throughout the entire journey. Mine is primarily a daily driver the 12 miles to my office, but she's also a lot of fun on road trips. I've officially named her "Tallulah" after the famous Tallulah Bankhead of Alabama, a worthy name for a beautiful and really fun automobile.

You got great gas MPG I made a round trip from Augusta, Ga to Charleston, SC last weekend and my MPG was 24.5. Took the back roads staying between 65-70 MPH.

I have similar results in my 528 on long trip where I average 65+ mph and get north of 32 mpg, which includes several bursts of 90+ mph. After 4 years I still love my F10 and the great drive every time I get behind the wheel.

Can't say I've enjoyed the same gas mileage on long trips with my 550, but I was amazed how incredibly comfortable it remained the whole ride. Longest so far about 3 hours. Felt like 10 minutes...

I drove my 535i xdrive from Boston to NYC, then on to Chicago. Continued on to Oklahoma City, ending up in Salt Lake last month and the car drove like a dream. I have a K40 installed and took full advantage of it on all the highways during the trip. Averaged 27.5 mpg and the only thing I had to address during the entire trip as adding some oil while I did a drive through check at OKC BMW.
