BMS Stage 1
So just popped this guy in tonight but have not performed the full throttle pulls for the adaptation.
I've searched high and low, to what extent do I need to perform the pulls for the tune to adapt? Is it full throttle through 3rd or 4th gear from standing or highway kick down? Is it as soon as it goes though the entire rev range at WOT it gathers enough data? Thanks in advance.

Honestly didn't notice any adaptation period, just started working. Once you have the tune, you'll notice the difference immediately (at least I did, as someone who regularly drives WOT).
If you're worried though, I'd just do some hard acceleration both from stop and while cruising. Though I have the N63tu, so maybe there's a different "adaptation" process between the two engines? Have fun! |
