Not done yet.. seems hat the thinner aluminum piping after turbos is decreasing boost.

So, the smaller inside diameter tubing is restricting flow longer, causing boost overall to be lower?
Where before it was 1 inch in length, now it is approximately 3 inches in length? Any thought that the methanol is causing a rapid reduction in temperature and therefore pressure? To me that would be expected, but to my knowledge there is no way to inject methanol prior to pressurization in the turbo, so is it even possible to avoid the drop in boost? I guess my first thought is this is one of the evils associated with methanol.

Great job pioneering the way for F10 owners, sucks the aluminum piping is robbing boost with the smaller diameter but you'll work it out no time!

More bull shit my welder fucked up the thread inside the bung now one of the meth nozzles leaking out meth! Me and tnt werks did all we can but I think I will need to get a new bung welded in. As for meth power car feels less lagy and continues to pull hard. After I fix the leak issue I will do 1/4 and mustang dyno.

Count me in as excited, this is a step in the right direction, welder screw ups and all.
Apparently this guy welds like me, or more accurately burns holes in metal like me.

Good grief, Stage 2 aggressive on 93 octane is only 16 psi averaged between banks right?
Time to check out the strength of various components that see pressure. If those rubber hoses are $265 each, how much are head gaskets for these things? Edit*** I just looked it up, it's 15 psi on stage 2, 16 psi on aggressive. 20 psi is insane compared to stock, that thing is going to scream!

Damn! I never realized that the intercoolers on M5's were so huge!

Dude, 20 psi, I gotta know the AWHP numbers as soon as you get them...I'm guessing 550, easy!
I'll be honest, I've been checking the forum every 5 minutes waiting for the results. Off topic, were you going with the Hankooks? RS3's? I think those were the ones, they were recommended to me by someone else. I need new rears, and I need something with more grip for autocross. I need to do more research on how much tire I can fit on the stock wheels, but these things need something sticky regardless.

I'm in no major hurry to buy tires, but the rears are getting thin. I'm guessing about 25% tread left. I plan to ask around for the best balance between performance and tire wear, though picking up an extra set of light wheels and sticky tires would make the most sense for going to the track. Seeing how tire wear and grip are directly opposed, I need to find the right balance for me.
How did the car run? Clearly more power, but did it run smooth? Any codes? I assume you worked through the boost drop issue if you were hitting 20 psi. I feel like a kid on Christmas eve. Just hoping I don't get socks this year...

When you sort it out, let us know how much power you put down and how it runs through the traps.
