I just got the CG blacklight and CG V7 spray detailer. I'm going to try and use the blacklight as an AIO with my Harbor Freight DA polisher. I have some very light swirls and some light scratches that I hope the blacklight can take care of. If not then it will be a 2 or 3 step for me. I'll post my results asap.

I think you'll have to Polish the scratches first before the black light product. I'm in the same boat as u with the light scratches.

Check this out bro... these are for light scratches. This pro used the blacklight as an AIO with great results and my swirls/scratches are less than these cars, the Bentley, from what the pro described had 5 years worth of swirls from improper washing, marring, etc...

Using Blacklight as a straight AIO:

using Blacklight in a 2-Step:

World's Best Wax

It's a dumb name, but it's an outstanding product.
I had my car detailed with a paste wax by one detailer, wasn't satisfied.
Had it redone same week by Autobahn (in Toronto area): I was astounded by the difference. My 2011 535 is carbon black, and the second wax job produced an entirely new colour depth -- a velvety soft deep lustre under the top shine. Stands out even in the parking garage!
It's called "World's Best Wax":
http://worldsbestwax.com
I've been driving a lot since the wax job, got the car very dirty several times, have been through touchless wash four times -- wax is performing as new so far.

Worlds best wax is very good. You need to put a good 2 coats of it on, but the shine and protection holds up for a good amount of time. I like it better then zymol. But also it depends on the detailer, I can use mothers carnuba and make a black car look good.

Does anyone have any experience with the Adams Patriot wax? I'm thinking about getting the Adams sealer and then putting a good coat of the Patriot wax over it. I would love to hear from someone who has used the Adams products.

A wax that works well for someone may not work well for someone else.
Some waxes are made to hold up in dry climate and scorching sun, while others to cope with lots of rain.
The initial gloss will be the same, but if you find yourself re-applying wax frequently you may use the wrong wax for your climate.

A wax that works well and lasts long in Texas may not hold up in LA or NY.
And the other way around.

Let me show you guys something better,Cheaper, and more depth in paint work other than wax.

lsturbointeg funny because to apply you literally only use 1.7 oz and you can only apply in the shade no where near heat and its best to apply undiluted if you use elbow grease and patience. if u dilute 50/50 or 1:1 its easier to wipe of but doesn't last as long maybe a month difference depending on conditions and treatment. if i were anybody on here they sell a small 100ml for $9.99 i would dilute it so u get double the product. i have detailed easily about 2-3 maybe even 4 car with just that 100ml dilute it be 200ml.

Washed and Clayed car (with clay mitt) and used the Blacklight and V07 Combo...Wow.. the AIO properties of the Blacklight and the V07 is freaking awesome! With a black waxing/finishing pad with my Harbor Freight DA Polisher on 4, and light to medium pressure I was able to get rid of 90% of my light swirl marks. Very content with these products!

Meguiars all the way

Pretty much all my products are from Meguiars. I have used them for over 15 years now and I love them.

No pics (yet), but every time I try something new I return to Zaino. My only problem is it's available online only (which is why I keep trying different products).

First question I have to everyone in this thread is WHY do you think that wax is what makes paint shine?

Someone explain to me what makes a wax "specific" for a certain color car. I'm dying to hear this.

Hard to beat P21s for any color car, I've used it on black and silver cars, my two favorites and if I do the appropriate prep before that last step it shines like new money.
