N63tu AA slip fit downpipes fit n63?
Have an opportunity to pick up some downpipes from an n63tu. I have a 2011 550 with the n63. The downpipes are slip fit. Will they fit on my n63 ?

Yes they fit, but you need to change the brackets shown below to (18327619011 & 18327619012) as the bolts to connect the DP to catback are part of the DP in your car. Or install bolts between the catback and brackets.

I know this is an old thread, however, any tips on the replacement of the brackets? is it easy/straightforward or does it involve lowering the engine? I am trying to swap to M5 downpipes and I also have the M5 brackets but can't find details on removal/install process of the brackets.

OK... finally... updates... Yes I had to get the M5 brackets(part number 2 in my original posting since I have a post 4/11 build which means I have different downpipes/brackets than the slip on ones). I had bought both sides brackets and new flanged Torx screws to hold them in since one side has taller Torx screws. The starter needs to be removed for the passenger side bracket to be installed. Both require a blind mate since there is hardly any room to work with. The heat shields that are around the original down pipes need to be removed for everything to fit. Also the rear engine bracket (needed to lift up the engine) also needed to be removed. some grinding was needed for the bracket to sit flush and the starter to be re-installed but nothing too intrusive. Next up is the M5 comp exhaust pipe install. Will try to first fit the M6 GC comp full single piece exhaust that I picked up but if there are any issues, I might switch to the M5 comp mufflers. I'll try to add pictures of the DP install once I get them from the shop
