AR design Catless downpipes, worth the problems?

I have a opportunity to buy the AR design catless downpipes for a really good price, but after reading a ton, most people say to go with the catted ones because of the smell and the cel light.

I dont care for the smell, im looking for the sound improvement mainy. Once i install them and the light goes on, is there a way around it?

Most of the threads i read are from a few years ago, so not sure if there's any easy solution to it, but seems like a lot of people are using them.

Its for the n63 engine..

I mean its just a light, you'll see all the time, but if you have JB4 stage 2 it will clear the code. You can always play with foulers.

I was about to say that too about some tunes will let you clear codes. Couldn't DL TorquePro with the dongle clear codes too?

The N63 Stage 2 does not clear codes. You would need to purchase a code clearing tool. There is no dpfix like device for these cats either and the mini cats installed on the o2 sensors are iffy at best (no real feedback to whether if or not they work).

A catted solution would be best IMHO...

Good news man. If VRSF gets a cost effective straight do on the market the mini cats would be a good bet.. link where you bought them?
