here's a few options:
slanted burnt tips

black rolled tips

chrome/polished rolled tips

these look pretty sweet...carbon fiber

just go to Ebay and type in 4" tips and start browsing

Damn they all look so good (except the regular chrome actually lol) I'm having a hard time choosing :/ I feel like I'll get sick of the burned tips eventually so it's between the black chrome and carbon fiber I guess

It's definitely possible, I just thought I would have to buy a new diffuser as well?

Yay a forum with some comments about F10's (Finally)..

Zombie post time!

On this exhaust Q - I have 1 Q..

For states with emissions tests, and given our cats are in the downpipes.. If I put an exhaust on or even straightpipe, and as long as I keep cats in my downpipes (stock or aftermarket) i should be passing emissions?

Otherwise, this was 'the' post for me on exhaust decision-making, thank you!

You should be able to pass with straight pipe exhaust as long as you keep the cats in. If you go catless, you need to get a proper tune that will adjust for the change and should allow you to pass emissions test.

I know this is an older post but i would like to revive it with a question.

On the armytrix valved exhaust system does anyone know if it will work on a 535 xi setup? I know the website says 535i RWD. I thought both stock exhust systems were the same?
Thanks

Hello everyone, I have a 2012 F10 535i. Currently I have my muffler and resenator delete. I do here drone. Also I was told by doing this type of modifications it doesn’t really help with any performance gain.
I was wondering what would be a best exhaust system for my car since I am going with VRSF charge pipe, race core intercooler and catless racing down pipe and of course an ECU tune.
I would really appreciate the help. Thank you.

You been diggin to get back to a thread from 2016 LOL. I have the vrsf catless DP and was straight pipe from there. IT was HORRIFIC. Sounded like crap. With the catted DP it sounded much nicer. I added two 24" resonators in the middle and it helps alot but drone is unbearable at times. Im thinking of removing them and going with some nice mufflers and see if it fixes it all. I like it loud when it should be loud and tame when cruising on the highway. I have researched a million times and have not come up with a solid solution yet. If you do.. Let us know

Yeah he have lol, I'm running a VRSF cldp, Magnafow "X" pipe and Valvetronic mufflers and she sounds good to me a Lil drone but I like it tho not as nerve wrecking as straight pipes even with the valves open.
