Haha, cars will loose money for sure unless it's collector's classic while watches can make money. Mainlanders are crazy now, they swept the prestige watches.

Shopping for a watch now to commemorate the birth of my son. I intend to hand it to him one day with his birthday on the certificate.
I wear my swatch and Bvlgari for daily use. The PP always in my save and Panerai is stolen by my wife. Hehe. Don't want to wear it often, they are weaker than our F10's paint job. Get dinks and nicks easily.

Get a PP, Jxnco bro. You won't regret and excellent present for you son.

My wife's been crazy lately. Bought a ton of shoes. My study room now full of shoe boxes. Spent more than my mods almost.

Yeah, just take them out once in a while or wear them on special occasions.

You can consume the wine during a special occasion like his wedding. Sort of cool
You are poisonous here bro. Hehe. Wine? Another thing that could spend a fortune. I like to drink but haven't started investing on them.

40k is kinda crazy. No wonder they only have wrapped super cars, paint job costs even more.

Forget the color bro. I rather spend the money on other mods.

I think the dinks and scratches add character to the watch. And of course, you can always have your watch polished everytime you bring it in for servicing. Just like rims, they come out good as new

Yep a PP would be nice. The prices of these watches go up faster than most things.

Dinks and nicks will not be bad for sporty watches. But for dress watch may be not too good.

My Panerai is like tofu, easily scratched. I told my wife not to wave her arm when walking into crowded area to avoid crashing into others.

True, bro. You can polish and for stainless steel is ok. But for other precious metals like gold, white gold or platinum, you really don't want to polish too often. Every polish is $ vanishing. hehe.

Get one of those complicated function PP. You won't regret.

I had an IWC ingenieur and i think I hit it against the wall a few times (while walking and running around) and then the oscillating heart broke...so i took it for repair within warranty period. They say it does not cover wear and tear....so i said....this does not match your ads which say engineered for men..but anwyays i paid.

10 months later...the watch not work again..same problem..but i am sure it wasnt me because i never really touched the watch after that..just put it aside..but i didnt bother getting it repaired...never buying iwc again

but i want to buy a JLC. that would be nice.

Back to topic.i am pretty sure i will either be wrapping or painting the car white. The savinsg i have by not doing msport rear will pay for it

For more regular wear and young look, I like PP 5712 0r 5980. But they are "fried", stainless steel. Investment wise precious metal will be better.

5712 is nice. Actually one of my targets. 5980 is out of my reach. It's half the price of my car

Yeah they usually double the price if it's in precious metal vs ss. I don't mind stainless steel for sports watches. I do like my dress watches in precious metals. Watch out for A. Lange & Sohne. If they do their marketing right, they might replace PP as the premier watch brand in a few years.

Maybe she caught the 'mod bug' from you .. or women have their own forums for shoes etc.
She don't notice your quad exhaust and Mkit because she is too busy with her shoes, or maybe she notices, but doesn't mention on purpose cuz she doesn't want you to notice +complain her shoes
