Here is my timeline:
12/20/05 - placed order
02/04/06 - scheduled for production
02/09/06 - awaiting transport
02/19/06 - en route
The dealer said it should be here in mid-march. I'm on the west coast.

Is yours at the port now? Mine is at the port and I'm hoping it gets on the INTEGRITY ship no Monday. Does it take half a month to go from Germany to SC by boat?

My 330i is scheduled to arrive at Point Hueneme (Oxnard) in 3/11 (per my BMW center). How accurate is the ETA given by the dealer (generally speaking)? My status on BMW's OC is still "en route". How can I pinpoint the exact location of the vessel that is carrying my vehicle? Anyone else expecting their car to arrive at this port in the next couple of days? At the very least, can someone provide BMW's 800 # so I can start asking some freakin' questions?!?! As you all can see, I am very impatient and need some closure on this matter! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

According to the WW web site, its been booked but not yet at dock (3/14/06)!

Furthermore, site states ship will be UNDINE, last reported off cost of Vietnam Dec 15! I'm gonna go cry ...

Once it reaches US, its supposed to be going to NEAT/Jersey City. I don't get that, since TN is a lot closer to SC than NJ.

P.S. Bremerhaven's web site doesn't list UNDINE as expected at port in the next month. I hope I'm just using their web site incorrectly.

PPS I put down the deposit 12/2/05

I ordered my car from BMW Manhattan 12/28. It is still "In Transit"- taking forever ..coming from South Africa on the SAPPHIRE ACE (cant track this ship anywhere). can someone help? i think im the first n only person on this site with a car comin from S.Afria

Yes it's weird how all ED cars that would typically go to the SE processing center Carolina actually off-board in NJ instead.

The guide should be updated to include Harms as a potential tracking resource (although, it's unclear how happy they'll be if there is a large influx in calls from BMW customers). They can help with attaching a boat to a VIN and giving an expected ship arrival date. See the post here:

They wont give me the production status number or tell me what stage it is in. Also the website is this animated thing with very little info. Is it true they will no longer give out the vehicle production status number?

Kinda BS about them not giving you a production number. Tell them you need the VIN so you can get an accurate quote from your insurance company!

25 Mar = Bought a car that was in transit already and not spoken for
27 Mar = Arrive in Port
05 Apr = OC enroute/800 At Port Awaiting Shipping Vessel
06 Apr = OC at VPC(14 Apr Estimated Delivery Date)/800 No Change

Did you try with the 1-800 number live person? Very often we just equate the process step with the status #...they don't tell you hey! your car is in status 152, they'll tell you is in the paint shop or something like that.

While its not an E90, I put in an order for a 2006 E46 M3 on March 11th. I've tracked its progress with BMW OC and phone calls to BMW, usually the tracking information has been 1-3 days off with the OC.

03/11/2006 - Signed order at dealer for 2006 carbon black M3 / black leather + SMG + xenons
03/26/2006 - Car entered production
04/03/2006 - Finished Production
04/04/2006 - Awaiting Transport
04/09/2006 - Called BMW and they said it shipped today. BMW OC said it was finally en route on the 11th, and according to my dealer it went out on the 8th (just called him today the 14th).

My dealer said the estimated arrival time for the VPC in Jacksonville, FL was the 23rd, and that the car was shipped with Kline -- not Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics, contrary to what earlier pages of this thread stated it should be shipped with.

I guess I'll find out more when it gets in to port. I believe the ship might be the Ingolstadt.

If it does get to the VPC on time my dealer said I should have it the last week of the month :rocks:

Ordered my e90 on 4/03. The dealer changed a preexisting order.

Right now its in production and will be completed 4/26. I can't wait till its here. The dealer said it will be another three weeks from today, its the 24th now.
