Does LED light fit in 2013 f10

I am debating of getting a used 2013 f10 550i xdrive vs new with LED light package. I like the new look with LED. however, if I get a used car I will save a lot of mullah. Can I replace the old xenon headlight with LED? The money saving is ready made me think twice. Your opinions are very appreciative.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

It's very expensive to retrofit. You'd be better off with a 2014 if you want LEDs

The money saved on the 2013 model will be more than lost retofititng LED Headlights into it. New Head Light Assemblies, new FRM Module, and New ZGW Module are needed. Parts alone are probably $5k plus.

It can be retrofitted without issue at all. Just be prepared to dish out about $6K in parts alone and close to $1K in labor & software reprogramming.

In Europe, a blogger got it done at just under $8K+ US (converted from Euros).

I am asking this question because there is a 2013 550i xdrive with over 15K miles, CPO and additional two years of upgrade maintenance and all options-out the door about $67500. On the other hand, I can get a 2014 with cold weather pkg, LED pkg and M-sport pkg and call it a day for $65500, not including $1500 holiday incentive because I am a usaa member.
I am torn and don't know what to do.

How important are the LED Lights to you is what it boils down to. If you have to have them, the you should go with the 2014 rather than the 2013 CPO, as retrofitting them is prohibitively expensive, and not to mention, if you do so, your CPO car will not be able to be programmed by the dealer without putting it back to factory condition, and that is a lot of work and money each time it is needed, not to mention hassle.

Me personally, I would take the 2013 CPO and be happy with it as is. The Bi-Xenon Adaptive Head Lights are damn nice too, and if the car is loaded out with an extended CPO warranty, it beats out a nicely equipped 2014 in my book. I keep looking at 2014 LCI Models to replace my 2011, and can't talk myself into it. It just isn't different or improved enough to compel me to make the switch. I am reading the next generation 5-Series is slated to arrive as a 2016 Model, so I think I am just going to wait out 2 more model years on it.

A link to what? There is no official retrofit or list of parts needed. What I provided are the 3 main parts (Light Assemblies, FRM, & ZGW) that I know are needed, and a rough estimate of their cost.

You will need both FRM and ZGW, plus the light modules. Current FRM cannot work with LED, and ZGW is needed as it has new DCAN3 for LED Lights.

actually I'm working on this with my friend. The car is 2014 LCI with Xenon. Tried a lot to make it work but no lucky. just retrofit the Led lights. FRM and ZGW is original. Add the Can3 and adjusted the harness. VO code the FRM / Tms / LHM. Now the low beam and high beam work fine. But the other lights do not work.

Did you check ETK part numbers for 2014 FRM & ZGW to see if they are different?

How did you add CAN3?

Having had both...

My 2012 had HIDs and my 2014 has LEDs. They're roughly comparable, IMO. I sure wouldn't go to the time and expense of retrofitting.
