BMW Extended Vehicle Protection option

Is the BMW Extended Vehicle Protection option worth getting?

Does anybody know the cost?

I think if you go to the BMW site and build a car, it's one of the options. I personally don't get extended warranties because I don't keep vehicles long enough to worry about it.

Not a good choice for a new car: $$ paid up front, yet you have a 4-year factory warranty, so the up-front money buys nothing in the first four years.
