I can't take this. Rollercoaster ride.

SWMBO offered to rearrange something and boom, she offered to drive me all the way to Blackpool to pick the car up in the morning!!!

So, weather permitting it's all back on!!

well, they do use an odd design on one model, but the big-sellers (eg 1000RR) are certainly conventional upside down teles !

Crown Vic's were defleeted a couple of yearsback I believe. Although I I do find it rather hard to beleiev that the majority are bmws

The sixth generation of the 5-Series (BMW F10) made its debut on 23 November 2009 as a 2010 model. Sorry to rain on your parade but that isn't right. All S1000 models plus the F800/F700/F650 models and the new R9T have conventional telescopic front forks. Never mind, I'm enjoying your countdown.

But all would not end well for Karl. In about three years the dreams of Karl Rapp were dead.

The financial problems of the company were just like a bullet through his heart. And there was no way he could survive this massive trauma. So in 1916 he sells out to Franz-Josef Popp and Max Fritz. For the next four years the company does well with the aircraft engine business. But it was not enough.

My first BMW was a 1976 E12 528, driving was never the same after that car.

My first BMW was a new 1992 316i E36. (red / manual gearbox). I have driven BMW's ever since moving up through 318i, 320i, 325i (auto) to my current E60 520d M Sport. This is 8 years old with 120,000 miles and is about to be changed for a new F10 520d Luxury.

I have over a month to wait so with 9 days left you must be bursting with excitement.

We are all waiting to see the pics. Hope you are not trembling so much that you can't hold the camera steady.

Released to eagerly anticipating eyes in the scorching desert of Las Vegas, this concept was nothing but hot.
At the Consumer Electronics Show that is renowned for releasing the year’s latest gadgets, cars and tech.
According to the German car manufacturing giant, BMW, they have prototypes fitted with a system called ActiveAssist.
The automated system is reported to have performed flawlessly and with great precision in a wet slalom test run.

Real world trials are expected on Europe’s roads in 2015. BMW don’t expect a highly autonomous vehicle to be road-ready until 2020
