Pics of my 3D STYLE trunk spoiler AW/CF
Thought I would throw up a couple pics of my 3D Style trunk spoiler i picked up off eBay and had painted fading into the carbon fiber. Wanted to do something different than painting is all white or just leaving it carbon fiber. I know not everyone will be a fan, but im pretty happy with how it turned out!

I like the originality. I would not have done a fade on the paint scheme, but rather just left that portion of the spoiler carbon fiber. I went for a similar look on my M5 spoiler, but used vinyl for the effect. Car looks great though. AW FTW!

Thanks, yea its not for everyone and expected mixed reviews. Wanted to do something a little different than the norm and I am happy with it and really like the way it looks (guess thats all that matter )

Cool f10, the exhaust tips looks beautiful.
Regarding the spoiler, I think the faded area should have been longer.

Love how the car is so slammed.
The fitment of the trunk spoiler seems strange. It doesn't follow the curves of the trunk from behind. Its a mix of the vorsteiner/ACS style. Alan

I'm looking at the pics online that i posted and then was looking at my car today when i was out and about. The pics for some reason make the spoiler look kinda funny. It looks different in person if that makes any sense...The pics dont do it justice |

Now the area where it's fades for CF to white looks to be max an inch long, if it was possible I think It would look even better with a longer/smoother fade.

I just picked up the 3D Style trunk spoiler as well, thinking I'll be leaving it all carbon, but can you post closer pictures of where they blended? A few friends with CSL trunks have done something similar but just run it all the way on the side, yours looks like it was lightly sprayed into the full white
