535iX Dark Graphite Metallic MSport w/rear spoiler -- and 18" snow rims
My new 535iX MSport -- with rear spoiler. Premium/Premium2, Cold Weather, Active Seat, Driver Assist, Sport auto, Fold down rear, HUD, Smartphone Integration, 4Zone Climate. Pics with original wheels and my winter snows -- 18x8 Bright Silver Paint moda EB1 with 245/45R18 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D RunFlat. Got to play in 12" of snow the day after Christmas in NY and car drove through the snow like a knife through butter!
Need to get more pics, some were too large to upload and others didn't come out great. But Merry Christmas me! |

The spoiler was not part of the M-Sport package (in the US). It's the Carbon Fiber spoiler depicted in the "accessories" for the 5-series. I bundled it into my lease (easier), but I think it was $600, plus $200 for paint (the carbon fiber looked close to the Dark Graphite Metallic, but I wanted it to fully blend in), plus labor to paint/install. Dealer did it all before I took posession of the car. Personal opinion, but I really think it accentuates the sport package.

I'm trying to decide whether to add the spoiler as I'm about to order a 535xi and found your post. So you didn't like the look of the CF on Dark Graphite? Did you see it in person first or did you decide to have it painted before seeing it? I was thinking that would look really great, wouldn't stick out but still noticeable, and would still have that cool CF look up close.

Really nice car. Congratulations.
I just ordered a Titanium Silver 550xi. Dark Graphite is my alernative choice. I'm 95% certain on Titanium, but something keeps pulling me towards the Dark Graphite. |
