Base Audio System Upgrade

Hello Everyone

I recently picked up a 2013 535i with M Sport Pkg
The car is highly speced apart from the dreadful base audio system. I love the car but the rubbish stereo system is spoiling the experience, it need to be upgraded.

What I want
1. Full stealth install I like to to keep the car as stock looking as humanly possible. You may suggest going oem but from what I've learned so far, owners with HIFI and Premium HIFI are not quite happy with their systems either, including B&O.

2. Obviously high-end sound quality with decent highs, mids and bass

3. Value for money

4. Avoid warranty issues

5. Maintain all functions Bluetooth, Nav Parking Sensors warning, etc. Did I mention that I'm annal when it comes to my cars

So I've been researching around forums, looking for upgrade options, there are a lot of useful information out there but not much for the F10 with base audio. I decided to start this thread hoping for some advice from all of you good folks who have done this already or in the process of upgrading. Collectively, we can benefit forum members who are considering doing so.

Options so far

Speakers (plug'n play)
1. Focal speakers IFBMW-S for Fdoors, IFBMW-C rear bench, IFBMW-SUB (not yet available ETA March 14)
2. Helix Match MS83C-BMW 3-Way Component System
3. MB Quart 200.3 3-Way Component System
4. Focals for the fdoors/bench and SWS 8x subs for the under seats
5. Eton b-100N/T, b-150 Sub (no amp running of HU)

Amp/ Processor
Since I'm going stealth I want to keep down to one external amp with DSP

1. Helix Match PP82 DSP plug and play 8-channel amplifier (spec looks good on paper)
2. JBL MS-8 (low power amp)
3. JL 600/6 no DSP

Accessories
Plug n Play amp harness PP-AC 13a or Technic harness
speaker Adapters
Speaker wire/harness
Sound Deadening
Tools
(do I need anything else)

Other things I'm considering
OEM Amplifier Bracket (not sure if it would fit)

Has any one tried any of the speakers or amp above what are your impressions of the sound quality?

I've used Reus Audio systems in my last 3 BMW's. Completely stealth, great sounding and no warranty issues. www.reusaudio.com

This is interesting I was interested in doing something like this too. Let me know what costs all these different options are. You seem to have done some serious research.

That's insane.
For me not sure if sound is that much worth that cost.

Audio Upgrade

I upgraded my HI-FI setup with aftermarket speakers using adaptor and OEM pigtail harness that a friend of mine made for me. The adaptor is made out of ABS plastic and fit perfectly in the door and rear deck of my F10. The pigtail harness just plugged into the OEM speaker wire harness. No cutting into the factory wiring and reversible to put back the OEM set up. Please PM me if anyone is interested in getting the speaker adaptor and harness, reasonable price but limited supplies.

So what did you end up doing? I'm looking to upgrade also with the Helix/Match processor.

How did it go? What adapter did you use to get the signal?
