[Test Car Wanted] M5 Style Full Body Kit Upgrade with Fenders
Project: Looking for someone willing to upgrade their F10 pre LCI 5 series, will sell at cost. About the kit: Full polypropylene with steel fenders. Exact M5 replica, installs onto stock mounting points using stock hardware. It will fit 2010-2013 pre-LCI 528i, 535i, and 550i sedans. Location: Orange County I'm basically looking for someone who's in the serious about changing the look of their 5 series and wants something completely different. I will sell you this brand new kit at cost so please message me for more details on that. I know there's another style of kits out there that fits with the stock fenders and this is NOT that kit. This is an exact replica of the M5 and requires replacement of the stock fenders, but the end result will be indistinguishable from the real M5! Keep in mind that this kit has the M5 quad exhaust diffuser so if you have a 528i and you would like test this kit out, you'll need to get quad exhausts, or it just won't look right.

2) You cannot purchase the front bumper without the fenders. The front bumper will not fit with the stock fender. There is a vendor that sells a modified M5 bumper that fits with the stock fenders of our F10 sedans.

Great question.
I have a 528i and 17" stock rims, so I think it would not look so hot with that setup! If it comes to it, I will have to use my car as a mule.

But what difference does it make if you only have 528i? You looking for someone else to test fit? lol |

And yes, the idea is to offer the opportunity to a more qualified person. Someone who wants to do something drastically different with their F10 than what's already available on the market.

If I was in that area, I would go for it.
Would definitely delete the M5 badges though. Another member's car (IE92?) did the OEM conversion and it turned out great! |

Please PM a price for the kit.
Also one question if you don't mind. Has this type of kit ever been test fitted before? According to IE92's post, it seems that the windshield washer fluid tank had to be removed and modified in order to fit his passenger side fender. If I remembered correctly, the M5 kit he used was an OEM. Thanks |
