Exactly. With such a HUGE leap in technological advancements, the last thing I'd want is to be the guinea pig for all of that. especially one that ends up paying $60K+ for the privilege of being their beta testers.

True, that is why I always lease first year models from now. My 2011 F10 was originally a lease but I decided doing a lease buyout as the deal BMW Financial offered me was too good to pass thanks to the low residual.

There's one in the same spec at my dealer and I, too, was not impressed by the G30. The tech and much of the interior would be a nice upgrade from our F10s, but that's about where it stops. I think the F10 is a more attractive design and I'm more than happy to keep mine
