Definelty recommend this.

As for the new car, I'm currently debating between a F10 M5, G30 5 series or a X5(M). But learn from this experience and Always Always Always get the extended warranty on cars like these.

Turbos are $1k each plus probably $200 in new oil return pipes/misc. Dealer wants $5K to install? Sounds ridiculous.

As for a replacement, the only car I considered before getting my 550iX (and would still take it in a heartbeat if I was in the market again), is the Audi S6. 2017 certified preowned is probably around $65K. It's like a 550i on steroids - much wider torque range compared to the 550i (1.4k - 5.2k vs 2.4k - 4.8k) and air suspension that can be tweaked for maximum comfort or maximum control.

Hi there

S6 lovely cars and so right about the torque band.

Only thing is when air suspension plays up which they do on any make, Range Rover, even bmw and audi - it's not the cheapest of jobs to sort out.

I'v always loved the comfort of these suspensions but just been too nervous to buy these vehicles fitted with it.

I suppose as someone said earlier if it's warranty then it's not a worry and there to be enjoyed.

Be interested in what you end up buying, keep us posted!

Don't laugh but I would suggest getting a cts-v and leave the n63 for a more reliable, more user friendly and more importantly.... more F'n power and mods for less money. The f10 is a great car but I won't miss it when my cts-v is making 800hp and I can do my own mods without a scientist helping me. The only downside is the ugly dash and it will probably fall apart faster but atleast it will be cheaper to work on and be more reliable engine wise, Thats where im headed next.

Get an indy shop to do the job, it should not be more than 2.5-3k to do the whole thing including turbos. Where are you located ? i know a few shops around USA that do this kind of work for a decent price.

IM located in chicago suburbs, im just worried about spending the money and then say something like my transfercase goes out again and i will not spend the 13.5 k $ on that repair my warranty covered that before it went out so im kinda worried about that , i was thinking about getting a f10 m5
