F10 to F90 body kit and back to F10 in 3 seconds journey.

some of you may know my other projects but I don't post too much about this one in particular. F10 which I tuned around a bit and was planning to do something else... so.

some body kits are great, others not so great but F10 to F90 is not good idea (for any who will try).

it does it's job and front looks very much alike (except it gets wider than rear 1/2 inch so if u had a aggressive tight fit, you would have to go even further on ET or add 10mm-15mm spacer to your current setup for the front) but the rear, sides are way softer on F10 (not even about depth of the tail lights and sharper trunk). so it doesn't look too good. plus to match it somehow you would have to retrofit F90 mirrors which is possible as anything but is another challenge.

therefore $2,5k kit moved to my "mustang" plastic tent where I work on the 68 coupe to fastback conversion

and tail lights moved to F10 which actually fit and look pretty nice. time to sand and refinish the paint, which I plan this/next week.

just as a thought. if I will feel adventurous I may convert front to the F90 with proper front lip and more aggressive ET for the front wheels but would keep the rear as current but I'm not sure if this setup will look good so I just would paint it in the same time with the current body and see where it goes.

another setback. LCI version keep the headlights on all the time. not sure what is the work around just thought worth to mention.

What's up with the notably darker door on the front passenger?
