ACS Lowering Springs to buy
I'm pretty a pretty savvy shopper and good with Google, but I can't find ACS springs to buy. Did HR's with my 2011 550 but it lowered over 2". Thought I'd try ACS on the 2014 but can't find where to buy them. Help please.

Th H&Rs lowered over 2"? Wow. I'm considering lowering springs, and H&Rs were on the list, but I'm not sure I want a drop that aggressive. Did that amount of drop cause alignment problems or premature tire wear?

Yeah, everywhere I've looked they said HR drops 1"-1.4". Mine went a lot more. Verified the right model too. Maybe it was the installer. Yes my rear wheels wore out the inside edge in six months.

Just got my first quote on ACS $650. Wow a lot more than the $250-$280 for HR. Are they really worth the difference?

Nobody could tell you if the premium for ACS is worth it over H&R's. People here with ACS raves about them and some with H&R do as well. What made me shell out more for ACS is because there are also several individuals here who went with H&R's first and switched over to ACS later on because they didn't like how the H&R's felt.

Thanks Alan. Did you ever think about Eibach. I hear they are the same. I liked the HR ride but I don't want to chance another 2+" drop.

It is true that Eibach makes the ACS springs but whether they are the same or not nobody knows for sure. I'd like to think that Eibach made the springs to ACS specifications but who knows.
