[resolved] A little scratch....how do I fix it?

Turning into my driveway I got too close to the neighbor's car parked in front of my house (we live on an extremely narrow lane, I always hate turning into my drive) and nicked my side-view mirror against his. There is no visible mark on his mirror but naturally mine looks awful!

Please don't ask me to live with it because I can't! What options do I have to fix this?

I assume that the mark is lack of paint on your mirror rather than paint transfer from your neighbour?

I am assuming that too. But it could be the other way around as well....should I try some thinner?

I would perhaps first use to T-Cut to see if anything does come off - failing that then i guess your choices are touch it up - or have it resprayed...

T-cut? I'm not familiar with that but I just checked out their website, I don't think its available in my country. What else would you recommend?

Good work - crisis avoided.

Will you return your neighbours paint?

He was there when it happened, his is an old Toyota and he was actually more concerned about mine. I am really glad it was nothing permanent, I almost wrote to my SA to ask about replacement side-mirror trim
