Dinan SUCKS

How could a BMS Stage 1 beat a Dinan Stage 4??????

What a joke...BadBlack550 is correct....Dinan sucks. I went to the track with him today and he ran a 12.2 in front of my eyes while I ran a 12.8?????

I ran a 12.4 with stage 2 and now im running 12.8 with stage 4. Im calling Dinan tomorrow and raising hell. This is bullshit. Spend 10K and Badblack550's car is faster with a $400 investment....

Badblack550 is 100% correct that the Dinan tune DOES NOT DO SHIT in some cases.

You ran 12.4 with Stage 2 and you think it doesn't do anything? How fast do you think the F10 is stock? Your Stage 4 needs to get reinstalled, or maybe installed in the first place.

BTW, BB only ran 12.7 when he had BMS alone and ran on 93 Octane. Other guys are only getting 0.1 sec out of BMS. It's a 450hp piggyback that provides some good bang for the buck, but no one else with BMS is coming close to what BB is doing. He just loves to torment Dinan owners.

It's good that BB helped you discover that your tune wasn't installed properly, but based on your original post it looks like you believed Dinan didn't work at all vice not installed properly. When I got Dinan install on my 550, I took it to the track because there wasn't any proof other than my butt dyno that it was working properly. I was happy to see it worked properly. I also would prefer the burden of proof was on them, but with any tune the owner testing is pretty much the only way to know. I am surprised you went from a working Stage 2 to a failed Stage 4 and didn't feel that the car was flat right away.

Completely stock or including your other mods? You mentioned doing a stock vs BMS 2.25psi vs BMS 4.0psi comparison a couple of weeks ago. Is that your plan this time around? Have you tried 4.0psi with 93 street gas yet?

i think sometimes ppls minds can play tricks on them. they dropped a ton of money on something and it's hard to admit that something is not hitting as hard as it should. i could be wrong but that's what i think anyway.

My car ended up with drive malfunction two times since stage 4 was installed. Once for a high pressure fuel pump and the other for two bad MAF sensors. The dealership flashed the car with the new software and re-installed Dinan. All the issues started from here. The car has never felt as fast as it was since they reflashed the software.

I spoke to Dinan and he suggested taking the car back to the dealership to verify that the tune is installed properly.

i am going to run with the stock BMS tune +2.25 PSI when i ran 12.7 is was horrible DA. i am sure i will match the Dinan stage 2 times. This sunday track was so busy i got 4 runs in 5 hours it was a waste of time and money. From now on i will only attend private events.

First i gotta ask the wife if she lets me it anit my cat hahha you guys are too funny man i been reading everyones post about bms and dinan! Guys lets be serious you choose dinan for warranty concerns or you choose bms for real speed without giving a fuck about the car. I was going to choose bms but my wife wanted dinan for warranty. So what ever the case may be theres nothing you can do about dinan.. At the end of the day steve dinan is smoking a cigar with his legs up counting everyones money and laughing about it and were all here crying about how we loose to bms. Bms is a great product also is dinan. So guys put it to rest theres nothing you can do besides reinstalling it again. You will never get your money back from dinan unless steves cigar gets blown out lmaoooo

A lot of us result in the same range as he does with stock possibly best at 12.4-12.7 contingent on weather and reflex. You can't blame him for exposing Dinan. I don't recall him tormenting Dinan owners though.

Yes, stock as he doesn't have any heavy mods to begin with lol. You shouldn't do 93 with 4.0 unless you want to burn a hole in that engine.

12.4 stock? I'm impressed!! Not to take any credit away from BB, but 12.1 doesn't look all that fast anymore. As far as the tormenting, all you need to do is read his posts across several BMW forums. I know he's having fun and he's been quite good at finding phantom tunes, so good on him.

Burn a hole? People wonder why it would out perform Dinan. Well I guess burn a hole would be why.

Anyway, same day, same car, same driver, stock(ish) vs 2.25psi vs 4.0psi would be helpful to let future buyers of BMS know how much the tune actually adds - no BS. If it is 12.8, 12.4, & 12.1 that's one thing, but if it is 12.8, 12.7, & 12.1 then that's something completely different.
