Google Maps "send to car" discontinued??

Forgive me if this discussion occurs elsewhere, but as of last week, I notice that you can only send to e-mail and not "to car" anymore. I tried different google sites e.g. the US google page, the Canada google page, but it's all the same. So what's up with that??? Has anyone made a call to BMW about this to see if they are working up a relationship with Bing for a "send to" on their maps?

I still see that option in on maps.google.com AFTER getting driving directions from point A to B ....

Worked for me last Sunday.

Left click on destination (red pincushion), click on "more" at lower right, "Send", "Car".

If trying from smartphone, it may not work at all - my attempts were unsuccessful last December - haven't tried since.

Just selected an address in Google maps. Used "Send". Then select "Car". It seemed to work. I'll find out if it actually got to my car in a little while when I head home from work.

Just verified... the functionality is still working for me. Got the address I sent to the car.

I also used this feature this morning. Make sure you are logged into Google. If you are not logged in you cannot use the send function.

You DO NOT have to be logged in to Google for it to send to car

Has anyone figured out whether you can use the google map send to car feature on mobile google map app?

It's still working for me.However,they did change the layout a bit...substituted a new icon or something (too lazy to check now).

The iphone version of google maps does not have the "send" function.

Thanks! I just thought I was missing something. Would be convenient if they had that feature.

yea, you will need the BMW Remote App if you want to use iphone to send locations to your car.

has worked for me twice this weekend. They did kind of remodel the google maps pages and there are two "Send" options - one only lists email addresses and the other has "Car" and all the normal stuff. Kind of confusing
